Mungan-Ngana

Mungan-Ngana In Australian mythology, culture hero who taught the people crafts and gave them names. His son was Tundun, who taught men initiation ceremonies. However, the ceremonies were then revealed to women, and as a result Mungan-Ngana sent fire between heaven and earth, killing all life except for Tundun and his wife, who were turned into porpoises and later founded the Kurnai tribe.
