Vitzilopuchtl

Vitzilopuchtl (sorcerer) In Aztec mythology, a war god who could change himself into any shape. According to various Spanish accounts, Vitzilopuchtl was originally a sorcerer of the black arts who was noted for his strength in battle. When he died, he was deified and slaves were sacrificed to him. A dragonlike creature was his symbol.
