Chachalmeca

Chachalmeca is in Aztec ritual, a high-ranking priest in charge of sacrifices. Aztec priests were not allowed to marry, and they lived in a cloisterlike compound. As part of their initiation they were castrated and blood was drawn from their penises, ears, and tongues by a chaichiutzli, a ritual stone.
