Alflas

Alflas: One of several demons named in the court of king Maymon in the Joseph H. Peterson translation of the Liber Juratus, also known as the Sworn Book of Honorius. Maymon, and thus his servants, is connected with both the planet Saturn and the direction north—although Alflas is one of the demons in this list who is also specifically said to be dinate to the southwest wind. Maymon and his court are described as tall, pale, and gracile. They can make it snow and they also have power to influence the emotions of anger, hatred, and sadness. Compare this demon’s name with Asflas, said to serve Albunalich, demon-king of the earth, in the Driscoll translation of the Sworn Book.
