Alphesiboea

Alphesiboea (bringing many oxen, much courted) In Greek mythology, daughter of Phegeus and first wife of Alcmaeon as Arsinoe. Though Alcmaeon was unfaithful to her, she continued to love him and was angry when her brothers killed him. Her brothers shut her up in a box and brought her to Agapenor, king of Tegea, pretending that she had killed her husband. Eventually she died, but not before she had her brothers killed by the son of Alcmaeon.
