Baphyra

Baphyra In Greek mythology, the name assumed by the Helicon River when it refused to wash away the blood the Bacchants (or Maenads) had spilled when they tore Orpheus limb from limb. To avoid complicity in the crime, the river submerged itself and reemerged miles away, taking the name Baphyra.
