Adi

Adi In Hindu mythology, a son of Adharma. He tried to avenge his father’s death at the hands of Shiva by transforming himself into a snake and entering Shiva’s abode. He then transformed himself into the beautiful Uma, but Shiva was not deceived and killed him. In some texts Adi is a form of the great goddess Devi, the wife of Shiva, who, when angry with her husband, took on the Demonic form.
