Shiwanna (Cloud People) In Pueblo myth, spirits associated with the dead. The Shiwanna live in the four or six regions of the universe, each of which has its own colour, or else live in the mountains, below a lake or spring, or in town by the sea. The spirits and the dead are represented by clouds and are impersonated by kachina dolls and masked dancers in kachina ceremonies. See KACHINA.
