Cressi Werewolves (1604) French WEREWOLF case involving five accused sorcerers in the village of Cressi near Lausanne. Arrested and put on trial in 1604, the accused confessed to sorcery, SHAPE-SHIFTING, and witchcraft. They said they changed themselves into wolves and attended SABBATS. They kidnapped a boy and took him to one of their infernal gatherings, where they killed him, drank his BLOOD, and offered him to the devil. They hacked his body into pieces, boiled them, and ate them. They used the fat for their magical OINTMENTS. The five were condemned to death and were burned to ASHES.
