Eurytion (full-flowing little one) In Greek mythology, a centaur who caused the fight at the wedding of Pirithous and Hippodameia. Ovid’s Metamorphoses (book 12) tells the tale. The same name is born by the herdsman of Geryon, king of Erythia. Both he and his dog Orthus were killed by Heracles during his 10th labor. The name is also held by a companion of Aeneas in Italy who was a great archer.
