Ring, Kenneth
Ring, Kenneth A professor of psychology at the University of Connecticut, Kenneth Ring is one of the world’s leading experts on neardeath experiences. In fact, in the 1980s he became the first person to study the near-death experience using scientific methodology, though by this time Elisabeth Kübler-Ross and Raymond Moody had already done extensive work in compiling anecdotal accounts of near-death experiences. Ring published his work in such books as Life at Death (1980), Heading Toward Omega (1984), and The Omega Project (1992). He also co-founded the International Association for Near-Death Studies, which supports research into the near-death experience.
