Breidalblick (Breithablik) (broad blink, wide glancing) In Norse mythology, the palace of the god Baldur, where nothing impure and the fewest evils were found. Even so, Baldur was murdered by a scheme of the evil god Loki. Matthew Arnold, in his narrative poem Balder Dead, describes the palace where engraved on the columns were “enchantments that recall the dead to life.”
