An enchantment is a magical spell. An enchantment places a person—or even an animal—under the influence of another person. Enchantments especially refer to love spells and to spells in which pleasurable, alluring illusions are cast. For example, Fairies enchant humans to fool them. Enchantment can be used synonymously with Bewitchment and FASCINATION.
