Abgoth: In the fifteenth-century magickal text known as the Munich Handbook, this demon is summoned to assist with spells concerning the art of scrying. He is also called upon to discover the persons responsible for theft, so that justice may be done. He appears by name in the fortieth spell in the Munich Handbook. The same text includes the name Abgo, which, although presented as a separate demon, may well be a misspelling of this demon’s name.
