Akongo – Ngombe (Democratic Republic of the Congo) – The Supreme God, who in the beginning had close relations with humans and served as their guardian and protector. However, people became increasingly quarrelsome. When the argument among humans became especially intense, Akongo left them and went to live in the forest. No one ever saw him again.
