Aloson: One of the demonic servitors ruled by the infernal lord Beelzebub. In the fifteenth-century
French version of the Sacred Magic of Abramelin the Mage, the name of this demon is given as Plison.
This spelling led translator Samuel Mathers to assume the demon's name was related to a Greek word meaning “to swim.”
