Barade means ā€œmounted warriorā€ and is the title for the Bori spirit whose personal name may be Safiyanu, Sumb, or Sufi. Heā€™s Sarkin Rafiā€™s brother. He adores battle but sulks when things donā€™t go his way. The afflictions he causes are characterized by bleeding, including internal bleeding. His victims usually experience burning heartburn and/or spit up blood.
