Barade means “mounted warrior” and is the title for the Bori spirit whose personal name may be Safiyanu, Sumb, or Sufi. He’s Sarkin Rafi’s brother. He adores battle but sulks when things don’t go his way. The afflictions he causes are characterized by bleeding, including internal bleeding. His victims usually experience burning heartburn and/or spit up blood.
