Dabaiba In the mythology of the Indians of the Isthmus of Panama, a rain goddess and mother of the creator god. Dabaiba was worshipped near a river of the same name. Human sacrifices were made to her, perhaps in the hope that she would never again send a drought such as a previous one that nearly destroyed the population. In a myth of the Antioquians, Dabaiba appears as the goddess Dabeciba, and her son is Abira, the creator god.
