Khronos

ORIGIN:

Orphic

Khronos is the Time Lord, Gnostic spirit of time. He turns the wheel of the zodiac. In various esoteric traditions, Khronos emerges from the primeval void to birth the world together with his consort, Ananke. He may or may not be identified with the Titan Kronos of Greek myth.

ICONOGRAPHY:

Khronos is depicted with a serpentine body and three heads: bull, lion, man.
