Retromancy is divination by observing things over the shoulder.

Derived from the Latin retrō (‘behind’) and Greek manteia (‘prophecy’)

Methods

Retromancy is a uncommon and obscure form of divination. It involves interpreting what is seen when one looks back over their shoulder. The people and things that a person sees when suddenly turning in this manner are analyzed based on their movements and location.
