SEERE (70)

Seere - Demon and Spirit of Solomon

Seere: The Swift Prince of the 72 Spirits of Solomon

Seere, also known as Sear or Seir, is a powerful and enigmatic figure among the 72 Spirits of Solomon. Ranked as the 70th spirit, he is a mighty prince who serves under Amaymon, the King of the East. Seere is renowned for his speed, adaptability, and willingness to assist those who summon him with respect and clarity of purpose.

Appearance and Attributes

When summoned, Seere manifests as a strikingly beautiful man, exuding an aura of elegance and confidence. He is often depicted riding a magnificent winged horse, a symbol of his swiftness and ability to traverse great distances effortlessly. This otherworldly steed reinforces Seere’s role as a messenger and transporter, capable of moving across the earth with unparalleled speed.

Abilities and Powers

Seere’s most remarkable power lies in his ability to move across the entire world in the blink of an eye. He can carry or retrieve objects, people, or information instantaneously, making him an invaluable ally for those in need of quick resolutions. Whether the summoner requires an object transported to a distant location, or a stolen item recovered, Seere can accomplish the task with incredible efficiency.

In addition to his remarkable speed, Seere is a seeker of truth. He provides accurate and reliable information about thefts, hidden treasures, and other concealed matters. His insight into the mysteries of the world makes him a powerful guide for those searching for clarity or lost knowledge.

Unlike many other spirits, Seere is known for his benevolent nature. He is described as “indifferently good,” meaning he does not harbor malevolent intent and is willing to assist without causing harm. This makes him one of the more approachable spirits for practitioners, especially for those who seek a trustworthy ally in their spiritual endeavors.

Personality and Nature

Seere’s cooperative and good-natured demeanor sets him apart from many other spirits in the Ars Goetia. He is eager to fulfill the requests of the summoner, provided they are made with respect and clear intent. His willingness to help, combined with his extraordinary abilities, has earned him a reputation as a reliable and efficient spirit who works without unnecessary complication or deception.

Role in Modern Practice

In contemporary occult practices, Seere is often invoked for tasks requiring swift action, such as locating lost items, uncovering hidden truths, or transporting objects or messages over great distances. His willingness to cooperate and his lack of malicious tendencies make him an excellent spirit for both novice and experienced practitioners.

Seere governs 26 legions of spirits, further amplifying his power and reach. His seal is a vital component in rituals involving him, as it acts as a key to establishing a connection and ensuring his cooperation.

A Spirit of Balance

Seere embodies the principle of neutrality and balance. He does not lean toward harm or chaos but instead offers his abilities in service to the summoner’s needs. However, like all spirits, he demands respect and proper ritual adherence. Those who summon Seere should approach him with clear intentions, humility, and an understanding of the responsibilities that come with working with spirits.

For those seeking a spirit of swiftness, reliability, and insight, Seere is an exceptional choice—his powers and good-natured personality make him a valuable ally in both practical and spiritual pursuits.
