Mahagir (Magaye) In Burmese mythology, a nat, or supernatural being, in whose honour a coconut is hung on a porch of every Burmese home. Mahagir is portrayed standing on a platform, holding a sword in one hand and a leaf fan
in the other. The platform is held up by three demons who are sitting on a kneeling elephant.
