In the Philippines there is a tribe of people,the Bebarlangs, who all claim to have been born with the ability to astral project and psychically attack people (see ASTRAL VAMPIRE). They claim that at night they leave their bodies using astral projection and seek out suitable human prey in order to steal their life-energy (see ENERGY VAMPIRE). Victims of these attacks often wake up the following morning feeling tired and weak. Any method that would harm or kill a human will do likewise to the Bebarlang people.
