Chiconquiahuitl (Seven Rain) An Aztec slave in costume who played the role of a god during feasts for Xolotl, lord of the evening star. Slaves taking the roles of gods on feast days were honoured as if they were actually the gods. However, they may have been sacrificed at the end of the festivities.
