Gula

Gula In Near Eastern mythology (Babylonian), goddess of healing, life-giver, the great physician who preserved the body in health and who removed sickness and disease by the touch of her hand. She was married to Ninib, with whom she shared her powers. She not only did good works but was invoked to bring down punishment on one’s enemies. She was also the intermediary between the gods of the living and the gods of the dead.
