Iaresin: A demon in service to the demonic princes of the four directions: Oriens, Paimon, Ariton, and Amaimon. Iaresin appears in S. L. MacGregor Mathers’ translation of the Sacred Magic of Abramelin the Mage. Mathers suggests that this demon’s name is derived from a Hebrew word meaning “possessing.”
