Kobal

Kobal: Ranked among the Masters of Revels in Berbiguier’s infernal hierarchy, Kobal reputedly serves as Stage Manager in Hell. This colorful vision of the hierarchy of Hell appears in Berbiguier’s three-volume autobiography, Les Farfadets. Kobal’s name is almost certainly derived from the Greek word kobaloi. This term designated a class
of mischievous spirits, from which we get the modern word kobold. Kobal is also mentioned in Waite’s translation of the Grand Grimoire.
