Koh Hingham – Satun Province

Koh Hingham is a small island in the Andaman Sea, covered entirely in smooth, black stones. According to local legend, these stones are cursed by the god Tarutao, and anyone who takes them off the island will suffer bad luck. Many tourists who have taken stones as souvenirs have reportedly experienced misfortune and have returned the stones in an attempt to break the curse. The island’s eerie reputation and the numerous returned stones serve as a warning to visitors, adding to its haunted allure.
