Numitorem

Numi-Torem is a deity from Mansi(Vogul) mythology, rather than Finnish mythology specifically. The Mansi people are indigenous to the Ural region of Russia, and their mythology is closely related to other Uralic traditions, including that of the Finns and Hungarians.

Numi-Torem (sometimes spelled Numitorum or Numi-Toorum) is the sky god and the “creator of all animals” in Mansi mythology. He is a central figure in their pantheon and is believed to have created the earth and everything on it, including humans and animals. Numi-Torem is often depicted as a wise, remote deity who resides in the heavens and oversees the world from above. He is also associated with other deities of the sky and elements of nature.

His role as a creator god makes him a powerful and revered figure in the mythology of the Mansi people, and his influence is seen in their cosmology and religious practices.
