Nuthon

Nuthon: In Mathers’ translation of the Sacred Magic of Abramelin the Mage, Nuthon is named as one of many demons who serve beneath Oriens, Paimon, Ariton, and Amaimon, the demonic princes of the four directions. In his attempt at tracing the etymology of the demon’s name, Mathers suggests that Nuthon comes from a Greek word meaning “piercing.”
