Spatilomancy

Spatilomancy (also known as Spatalamancy or Spatalomancy) is a form of divination involving the examination of animal feces, or their skins and bones.

Etymology

Derived from the Greek spatilē ('excrement') and manteia ('prophecy')

Modern forms

There is a modern divination, splatomancy, that utilizes the patterns of bird droppings on a car.
