Tlaloc
Tlaloc : The Provider
Tlaloc, pre-Aztec Lord of Rain and Lightning, is extremely old. He may be the oldest deity of the Central Mexico pantheon. He lives in mountain caves filled with treasure. Condition and quantity of rain indicates whether Tlaloc is feeling generous or stingy. Tlaloc stole corn from Quetzalcoatl and has owned it ever since.
Tlaloc rules Tlalocan, a realm of death. He receives those souls who died of drown ing, lightning, or any diseases specifically associated with rain deities.
