Triton
Origin:
Greece
Triton, the son of Amphitrite and Poseidon. lives at the bottom of the sea in his mother’s golden palace. Triton is a wise, oracular spirit. He commands violent storms and has the reputation of being a violent lover toward both women and young men. Triton is considered a very erotic spirit. Hekate is among his many lovers.
The word triton is sometimes synonymous with merman.
Manifestation:
Triton is a merman with long hair, but he is also a shape-shifter.
Spirit ally: Triton often accompanies his father, Poseidon.
