Xenomancy

Xenomancy is a form of divination by observing the first stranger who appears.

Etymology

Derived from the Greek xenos (‘stranger’) and manteia (‘prophecy’)

Origin

It has been said that Xenomancy is almost as ancient as man himself. Primeval shamans practiced Xenomancy during mankind’s dawn just like Egyptians and Romans.
