Iamai

Iamai: One of the demonic servants of the infernal lord Beelzebub, Iamai is named in the Sacred Magic of Abramelin the Mage . Interestingly, the name of this demon is a palindrome: It reads the same backward and forward. This particular type of wordplay was a significant part of the magickal tradition represented by works like that of Abramelin. Words like the name of this demon were often seen as magickal in their own right because of
their structure.
