Commonly known in Spanish as ´La Casa Del Gringo Loco´, it is located in Sangolqui, and it is very famous in the region. There are lots of stories about this place, but as far as we know, its owner was a French man who used to stroll around the neighborhood, but after his death (many years ago) the place has become a meeting point to celebrate dark rituals, play the Ouija or try to contact spirits.
The legend indicates that the worst experience related to this place was when a group of people went to visit the house and challenge the Gringo´s spirit. Most of them wrote their names upside down on the walls and one week after, four of these people died in a crash accident. Coincidence? It is not open to the public, but some curious people have found a way to get in and look around this sinister place.
