Andros: A demon who often assumes the form of a many-headed dragon. Each of the heads on the dragon is that of a virgin with a soft and beauteous face. Andros serves as chief duke to the wandering prince Macariel as described in the Ars Theurgia. According to this text, Andros is not bound by any particular hour of the day but may make his appearance freely during the day or during the night. Andros is also a Greek word, meaning “man.” Compare to the Goetic demon Andras.
