Uzza

Uzza

Uzza (Ouza, Semyaza, Uzzah) is a Fallen Angel. Uzza means “strength.” In 3 Enoch, Uzza is named as one of three primary ministering angels with Azael and Azza, who live in the seventh (highest) heaven (probably prior to their fall). The three object to the elevation of the prophet Enoch into the great angel Metatron and are cast out of heaven as punishment.
Uzza also is a tutelary spirit of Egypt.
