lnokos: One of several demons said to serve the infernal kings Asmodeus and Magoth. The manuscript translated by Mathers is only one of two versions of the Sacred Magic of Abramelin the Mage to contain either the name of this demon or its hierarchy. In the other, a 1608 manuscript originally in cipher, kept at the Wolfenbiittellibrary in Germany, the name of the demon is spelled Unochos.
