Lamas
Lamas: A chief duke under the rule of the demonic king Raysiel. According to the Ars Theurgia, both Lamas and Raysiel are connected with the north. Reputed to be both stubborn and ill-natured, Lamas rules over a total of twenty lesser spirits who exist to carry out his commands. The name of this demon is particularly close in spelling
to Lammas, a traditional Pagan holiday celebrated on the first of August. This celebration has its origins in a medieval harvest festival celebrated in the British Isles. Despite the similarities in spelling,
there is no clear line of connection between the demon Lamas and the festival of Lammas.
