Larmot

Larmot: One of twelve mighty dukes who serve the demon Caspiel, the infernal Emperor of the South. Larmot and his demonic brethren are reputed to possess very difficult natures. According to the Ars Theurgia, they are churlish and stubborn spirits. Larmot is also a so-called “spirit of the air,” which is to say that his essential nature is more subtle than physical. When he manifests, he may be difficult for mortals to see without the aid of a scrying crystal or glass vessel. He has no fewer than two thousand two hundred and sixty lesser spirits who serve beneath him. This name may well be a variation on the demon Larmol found in Rudd’s Treatise on Angel Magic.
