Sideromancy

Sideromancy is a branch of pyromancy or divination by fire, based on the interpretation of the flame, smoke, and pattern of straws that were placed on a hot piece of iron.

Etymology

Derived from the Greek sidēros ('iron') and manteia ('prophecy')

Methods

Get a hot iron and some straw. Press the iron into the straw until it is burned away, then attempt to interpret the shapes.
