THE GHOSTS ON THE AIRWAVES OF SEVILLE
Seville, Spain – 17 August 2025
Welcome, curious souls of Occult World, to another threshold where the mundane and the mysterious collide — this time, through the very medium of sound.
In the heart of Seville, a city whose stones hum with centuries of prayer, passion, and superstition, a small radio station has become the stage for a chilling and unexplained event.
What began as a routine live broadcast ended as one of the strangest episodes ever to ripple through Spanish airwaves.
The Night of the Broadcast
At exactly 22:17 on the evening of August 14, 2025, presenters from Radio Triana FM, a local community station known for cultural and folkloric programming, were live on air when they heard a voice that did not belong to anyone in the studio.
Listeners phoned in immediately — some claiming they heard a woman whispering prayers, others reporting a deep male tone repeating their names.
Technicians checked the frequency, equipment, and power sources. All were functioning normally.
Moments later, cameras from the studio’s livestream captured a shadowy outline behind the soundproof glass. The image appeared for just under three seconds — indistinct, but clearly humanoid. The figure vanished as abruptly as it had appeared.
Echoes of the Past
Seville is no stranger to phantoms. The station building, located near the Calle San Jacinto, occupies the site of a former 19th-century convent partially destroyed during the Civil War.
Local historians confirmed that the remains of two nuns and a priest were discovered beneath the site during renovations in the 1980s — a detail long forgotten until this month’s broadcast rekindled it.
Mediums and sensitives from the Andalusian Society for Parapsychological Research (SAIP) visited days later. They detected what they called “residual spiritual energy,” a kind of echo imprinted in the environment, activated by emotional or sonic resonance.
Their theory? The frequency itself may have acted as a catalyst — the vibrations of the live transmission stirring dormant imprints within the walls.
Between Faith and Frequency
Some local clergy urged calm, calling the phenomenon a case of interferencia técnica, likely a radio signal overlap. Others, however, whispered that the dead had spoken through the medium they know best: the air itself.
The recordings were sent to Radio Nacional de España for forensic analysis. Preliminary results confirmed the mysterious voices were not part of any overlapping signal nor digitally inserted afterward. “We cannot identify their source,” stated technician José López from the audit team.
For the faithful, that absence of explanation was, paradoxically, proof.
Occult World Commentary
To the modern mind, a radio frequency is a wave — measurable, invisible, and indifferent.
To the esotericist, it is a channel — an etheric corridor where thoughts, words, and energies cohabit.
The Seville incident reminds us that the line between communication and communion is perilously thin.
When the living broadcast, perhaps the dead listen — and sometimes, they reply.
So, dear readers of Occult World, tune your awareness gently to the static. For within every frequency, there might be a whisper older than language itself.
