Melchom

Melchom: A duke who commands thousands of lesser spirits, Melchom serves the mighty king Baruchas
in the north. This spirit will not manifest to mortals outside of a very specific time frame . The Ars Theurgia , a book on spirits associated with the points of the compass, contains the formula for determining when Melchom will appear. According to the text, you must divide the day into fifteen parts. Melchom will manifest only during the third section of time.

In a curious demonic hierarchy often misattributed to Johannes Wierus, Melchom is described as the paymaster of the royal household in Hell. The hierarchy stems from the early-nineteenth-century works of the self-described demonologist Charles Berbiguier. The name Melchom itself is a corruption of Moloch. A scribal error in 1 Kings 11 :7 transforms the name “Moloch” to “Milcom,” and it is highly likely that the name of this demon derives directly from that biblical reference.
