Amaniel: According to the Sacred Magic of Abramelin the Mage, Amaniel is part of the demonic hierarchy who serves beneath the greater demons Astaroth and Asmodeus. In his translation of the Abramelin material, occultist S. L. MacGregor Mathers suggests that Amaniel is a fallen angel whose name means “nourishment of God.”
